Hey folks,
If you’re on GOODREADS, be sure to add Confusing the Seasons to your list now!
Also, if you live in Flagstaff, be sure to come down to Flagstaff Bicycle Revolution for my book signing. T-shirts will be available for the first time that night, so be there!
Hi folks,
Just a quick update to let you know what’s going on in my world.
—The book is selling well! More formats will be available soon (iPad, Nook, etc), and hard copies are of course still available on this site and on Amazon.com.
—Brown Tie Publishing t-shirts are in the works and should be available within the next month or so. Thinking about hats, too, but the price point would be higher than I’d like…$25 a pop. Nice hats, so I’m still considering it.
—This website is headed for some exciting changes in the near future. Keep your eyes peeled!
—A few short stories will be available for PDF download within the next month here on the website. Low price point, high entertainment value!
—Just finished a first draft of a short story called “Carper’s Bridge”. Scary one. Needs some polishing, but a good story.
–Just had a great conversation with the other half of Brown Tie Publishing, Joe Arthur. We are working on a complete overhaul of WATERLOGGED AUGUST, one of our first collaborations together.
–Reading an issue of Weird Tales. If you don’t know it, learn it! Great stories…
That’s it for now. More to come…
A great blog I follow regularly about all things Waterbury (the city in CT in which I grew up) recently mentioned ‘Confusing the Seasons’ in a post about Waterbury books. Check it out HERE.
While CTS only mentions Waterbury in the final chapter, it captures a lot about that city and what it meant to grow up there. I think I was pretty harsh on that city in the book, and there’s a lot of good to be said about the place, but as the characters in CTS would most certainly believe, it’s a great place to figure out where you should go next.
First off, thanks to all who have bought the book or the Kindle version. Your support is immensely important.
This may seem like a writer’s pipe dream in action, but it’s more than that. I am only one of hundreds of thousands of artists trying to adapt to the digital age, in which you make your name yourself. No one knocks on the door anymore; you have to go out that door and do it all alone these days, and that’s a game changer for sure.
In that spirit, I have added a DONATE button at the bottom of the home page. If you feel inclined to spend a bit more cash to keep me writing, please, do not hesitate. Any amount is greatly appreciated. All I can offer you in return is some great stories and my hardest work. I plan on posting some PDF downloads for purchase (short stories, mostly), and if you donate, I promise to get you a story free of charge.
Thanks for your support. This would not be possible at all without you.

Hi folks.
Since last I posted, I have been through two proofs of the book, and it’s looking good! After some initial changes, the manuscript is looking like it’s almost ready to go. The novel should be ready for publication by early next week.
In other news, I will have some short stories available for PDF download very soon. The price of each short story will be pretty inexpensive, and the download should be quick and easy.
I am also looking for a good voice actor or someone with experience who would be interested in helping me record an audiobook version of my novel.
The Kindle version of the book should be available within the next several weeks as well, so keep your eyes peeled.
