I’ve been back from the east coast for about a week now and I’ve barely had a chance to breathe. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new, now that I’m back in Colorado and no longer sick (damn head cold!).

First off, the signing in Waterbury, CT was fantastic! Big, huge, immense thanks to John Bale Book Company for being gracious hosts. Here are a few photos from the signing.

Jack Shea, my former scoutmaster, stopped by to grab a few copies of the book. It had been six years, easily, since I'd seen him last!

The Evertz family from New Jersey came up to visit, too! Was great to see old friends...

Chuck and Linda

My dad and I chatted during the slow moments---of which there were few.

Ede is the owner of John Bale Books and she was a very fine host. That is a goofy look on my face...

After the signing, I headed north for a wedding, some camping, and some fun in general. Here’s a few snapshots from the fun…

I stopped in Portland, Maine to have a few beers with my old college roommate, Devon. This was the view from the pier on which we were enjoying our beverages. Not a bad view.

Car camping. What a mess. At least I had good beer: if you get the chance, try Bar Harbor Blueberry Ale. Nice beer for a rainy October day in Maine.

Gotta respect the Hartford Whalers! My first pro hockey game I ever saw was the Whalers versus the Blues...

Okay, I actually took this on my way TO Connecticut, not on the way back...but we can pretend it's the end of the trip, right?

Home sweet home...got us a bit of snow the day after I got back to Colorado. Nice to be home...

I’ll have some more pics later…a few good shots of the coast of Maine!
